April Malina’s goal is to use her voice to change the world. A versatile instructor, producer, performer and artist, she helps others discover and tell their stories… from the heart.
She helps students find their voice through personal voice lessons and streaming videos at SmartSingingLessons.com.
She has entertained millions, from musical theater, live concerts, voiceovers, recorded music, as well as television and film. April has worked, in many cases closely, with (or for) a wide variety of world-class artists, including: Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones; Adrian Young of No Doubt; Berry Gordy, The King of Motown; The Temptations; R&B bands Honey Cone, A Taste of Honey, The Delfonics, SOS Band; Adam Lambert; Sarah Silverman; RuPaul; Cameron Mackintosh; Brian Grazer; Electronic Arts; Mattel / Barbie; Disney; Care Bears; Bratz; Steve Wynn; The USO; and many more.
April has performed live for a US President, tens of thousands of US troops while touring Iraq, Kuwait, and Bosnia; and her voice has been heard by millions over the last decade representing a global icon.
But she’s most proud of the people she’s helped as a voice instructor. From her studio in Southern California, her students have been accepted to the top music schools in the country, appeared in the Top 12 of The Voice, and received global record deals. More importantly … they have found confidence, security, and joy within themselves, not only making them better singers, but making them happier humans.
